Consultation

The first step is one of the hardest, because it's all so sudden and shocking and scary and downright inconvenient. Please know you're not alone, as much as it might feel that way. There are no wrong questions. There is a right way forward, and that's where our team will guide you.

The First Step:

You will begin with a brief consultation designed to put you at as much ease as possible. Our Brightpath program is built upon the notion that as a mom, a wife, or a daughter, you're not accustomed to focusing only on yourself. We’re here to allow you ample time and attention to
do just that: focus on your body and your health.

During the consultation, you will meet individually with esteemed oncologists and cosmetic surgeons who collaborate to lead the Brightpath program and refer you as necessary to others in the Breast Center network. The doctors will go over all of your options in great detail with you; they will explain expectations for each phase of the Brightpath process, including recovery and aesthetic outcomes.

To help you understand as much as you care to, you will have access to many different resources, including an audio visual slideshow, books and print publications, internet access, etc. Of greater comfort, you will have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you like in a private, uninterrupted, one-on-one environment. You are on your way.
