Breast Centers
The Breast Centers at both NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center are among the most modern and technologically advanced facilities of their kind. The clinicians at the Centers are accomplished, caring specialists who have a long-standing commitment to women's health. Patients receive comprehensive breast care in one of two centralized locations, in a nurturing and friendly environment.
The teams at the Breast Centers maintain a multidisciplinary approach, combining the expertise of specialists in surgical oncology, medical oncology, alternative integrative medicine, radiation oncology, mammography and diagnostic imaging, plastic and reconstructive surgery, psychology, social services, nursing, physiotherapy and rehabilitation medicine, psychiatry, and nutrition. The centers also organize a range of patient support groups.
