For more than a decade, the Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory at the Center for Vascular and Endovascular surgery has supported a team of world-renowned surgeons at Weill Cornell Medical College as well as a host of other physician practices in the New York area. As an ICAVL * accredited lab, we have a proven track-record of delivering the most accurate diagnostic exams for the early detection and diagnosis of a variety of vascular diseases.

Our 3 dedicated labs use only state-of-the-art Ultrasound and Doppler equipment, and offer you complete privacy and comfort during an examination. For your convenience, the facilities are collocated with our surgeons in the event that you require an exam during a visit. We also feature 2 advanced treatment rooms for minimally-invasive procedures in treating varicose veins using Radio Frequency Ablation and VNUS closure technique.

Our certified technicians are committed to keeping in the forefront of new advances in vascular ultrasound and patient care. • Carotid Duplex Ultrasound for detection of carotid artery disease and stroke prevention
• Aortic Ultrasound for detection of abdominal aortic aneurysms; surveillance of aortic endograft and aortic open repair
• Venous Ultrasound of Upper and Lower Extremities for detection of DVT (deep vein thrombosis ) and SVT (superficial vein thrombosis); varicose vein evaluation and detection of venous insufficiency
• Vein Mapping of the Upper and Lower Extremities
• Arterial Duplex Imaging of Upper and Lower Extremities for evaluation of native arteries, bypass grafts, and stents
• Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) with Pulse Volume Recordings (PVR) to assess blood flow and arterial blockage in the arms and legs
• Treadmill Exercise Testing for detection of claudication
• Digital Photoplethysmography (PPG) with Thermal Measurement for detection of Raynauds Disease or blood flow blockages to fingers or toes
• Visceral Artery Duplex Ultrasound for diagnosis of mesenteric ischemia
• Renal Artery Duplex Scanning for diagnosis of renal artery stenosis and work-up of Renovascular hypertension
• Dialysis Access Evaluation for evaluation and surveillance of dialysis AV grafts and fistulas
• Thoracic Outlet Syndrome Evaluation
• General Vascular Screening modified exam of the Carotid, Aorta and Lower Extremity arteries to evaluate risk for Stroke, Aortic Aneurysm and Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
