America's Best Hospitals 2006
Each year, U.S.News & World Report™ evaluates thousands of hospitals located throughout America. This study is widely considered one of the nation's most thorough and reliable measures of medical quality.

This year, 173 medical centers were included among America's Best Hospitals. NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital was one of only 18 that was named to the Honor Roll of America's best, ranking number 6 for the second year in a row. The Honor Roll places us in the company of some of the most prestigious, world-class medical institutions, including Johns Hopkins Hospital, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic and Massachusetts General Hospital. This distinction is the most recent indication that NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital – and the care it provides – continue to be among the best in America.

We congratulate and thank our employees and medical staff for their outstanding commitment to quality patient care.
