Endocrine Surgery
Our Mission
The Division of Endocrine Surgery aims to provide comprehensive care for a full range of diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid gland, adrenal gland, as well as endocrine tumors of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreas – from the more common and benign disorders to relatively rare cancers.
Our experts provide personalized care for each patient, from the first visit, through surgery, and follow-up care after surgery. With our team of dedicated surgeons, professional support staff, and physicians in nuclear medicine and pathology, we can deliver medical options that are tailored to each patient's needs.
Our program offers cutting-edge treatments that reduce recovery time and offer patients options for surgical approach. Using minimally invasive techniques in parathyroid and thyroid surgery, our team aims to reduce the appearance of neck scars. Adrenal and pancreatic surgery is routinely approached laparoscopically using small incisions, with most patients having a shortened recovery and a quick return to normal daily activity.
In addition to providing outstanding individualized clinical care, we are committed to advancing the field of endocrine surgery through research and education with the goal of finding better treatments that not only cure patients, but also improve their quality of life.
